Baguio’s Newest Mountain-View Spot: The Baguio Arboretum Gallery Opens Oct. 19

Baguio City is set to welcome a new recreational and nature destination as the Baguio Arboretum and Baguio Arboretum Gallery officially open on October 19, 2026.

Located at 177 Leonard Wood St., Baguio City, near the Baguio Botanical Garden and Baguio Teachers Camp, the new destination offers visitors another space to appreciate the city’s natural landscape and surrounding mountain scenery.

One of the site’s notable features is its scenic elevated walkway, which allows visitors to explore the area while taking in the greenery and views characteristic of Baguio’s mountainous landscape.

The Baguio Arboretum also provides a recreational setting that highlights the city’s green spaces and natural environment. Its location near several established attractions makes it an accessible addition to Baguio’s growing list of destinations for both residents and tourists.

The Baguio Arboretum and Baguio Arboretum Gallery will officially open at 9:30 a.m. on October 19, following the city’s Flag Ceremony.

With its combination of natural surroundings, mountain views, and recreational spaces, the new destination is expected to offer visitors another place to explore in the City of Pines.
