DSWD TO RELEASE UP TO ₱8,000 IN AID FOR QUALIFIED SSS MEMBERS STARTING OCTOBER 30

Qualified low-income Social Security System (SSS) members with a Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) of ₱10,000 or below may receive up to ₱8,000 in government assistance starting October 30, 2026, under the UPLIFT Program, as rising fuel prices and living costs continue to affect Filipino households.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is scheduled to release financial assistance under the government’s Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport (UPLIFT) Program. The initiative aims to provide financial relief to vulnerable workers and households amid increasing fuel prices and other economic pressures.

Under the latest payout schedule for Group 3 beneficiaries, qualified SSS members in the ₱10,000 MSC bracket may receive a combined payment of ₱8,000 starting October 30, covering the first four installments. Members who have already received the first two installments will receive the remaining ₱4,000 for the third and fourth installments.

Meanwhile, SSS members in the ₱20,000 MSC bracket are scheduled to receive their combined third and fourth installments, totaling ₱4,000, starting November 6, 2026.

Under the UPLIFT Program, qualified beneficiaries are entitled to ₱2,000 per month from July to December 2026, amounting to a maximum of ₱12,000 over six months. The amount released on each payout date depends on the beneficiary’s eligibility and previous payments.

Who is eligible?

Assistance is not automatically granted to all active SSS members. Eligibility is determined through government records and program requirements. Qualified members must fall within the applicable MSC bracket, have at least one SSS contribution in 2025 or 2026, and be included in the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS), subject to the program’s validation rules. Assistance is limited to one qualified beneficiary per household based on CBMS records.

How will beneficiaries receive the assistance?

Qualified beneficiaries do not need to queue at physical payout sites. The financial assistance is scheduled to be credited to their registered bank accounts or e-wallets enrolled through the SSS Disbursement Account Enrollment Module (DAEM) on the My.SSS portal.

The DSWD has also clarified that the assistance is funded by the national government and does not come from SSS members’ contributions.

Members are advised to check their registered disbursement accounts and monitor official DSWD and SSS announcements for updates on eligibility and payout schedules.

As fuel prices and everyday expenses continue to put pressure on household budgets, the assistance is intended to help qualified low-income workers manage their essential expenses.
