DTI Bagong Pilipinas Wedding Fair Returns for Its Second Run, Showcasing the Best of Filipino Creativity and Entrepreneurship
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is set to host the highly anticipated DTI Wedding Fair for its second run, taking place on June 26, 27, and 28, 2026 at SMX Aura Premier, Convention Center, Taguig City.
Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the three-day event will once again serve as a platform showcasing the best of Filipino talent, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurship in the wedding and events industry. More than 100 Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are expected to participate, offering couples and event organizers access to a diverse range of products and services while creating meaningful business opportunities for local enterprises.
The DTI Wedding Fair was conceptualized as part of the vision of DTI Secretary Ma. Cristina A. Roque, together with ASec. Nylah Bautista, Head of the Competitiveness and Innovation Group. Recognizing the wedding industry as a vibrant and growing market, the DTI saw an opportunity to create a platform that would help Filipino entrepreneurs expand their reach, connect with new customers, and showcase their creativity through products and services that celebrate life's most important milestones.
Bringing together local businesses under one roof, the fair highlights the value of supporting Filipino brands and service providers. From bridal fashion and event styling to catering, photography, floral arrangements, travel services, stationery, music, and production, the event offers future brides and grooms a one-stop destination for planning a meaningful and memorable celebration.
The inaugural run of the DTI Wedding Fair last 2025 was led by DTI Sec. Cristina A. Roque and Asec. Nylah Bautista, brought together MSMEs from across the country. With its success, the fair returns this 2026, continuing its commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, strengthening local industries, and creating new avenues for Filipino businesses to thrive.
Last year's edition welcomed couples, wedding planners, creatives, and industry professionals who explored a wide range of wedding solutions while discovering how Filipino artistry and innovation can elevate every aspect of a celebration. Among its highlights was a runway fashion show featuring Filipino bridal designers who showcased modern interpretations of traditional fabrics and sustainable design. Interactive exhibits and talks also spotlighted the country's creative industries, demonstrating how weddings can serve as expressions of personal stories, cultural heritage, and national pride.
The DTI Wedding Fair 2026 returns as a celebration of Filipino creativity, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurship, bringing together the country's finest wedding suppliers and MSMEs under one roof. From June 26 to 28, the SMX Convention Center of SM Aura will transform into a vibrant destination for couples, families, and wedding enthusiasts to discover exceptional local products and services that help turn dream celebrations into reality.
This year's fair continues that mission by encouraging couples to incorporate Filipino craftsmanship and creativity into their special day. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover products and services that reflect the richness of local talent while directly supporting homegrown businesses.
Beyond the wedding showcases, attendees can also learn more about DTI's programs that help entrepreneurs grow their businesses. The fair will feature booths from the DTI B2B Marketplace, where MSMEs can register for free and gain access to a digital platform that connects local suppliers with wholesale buyers in both domestic and international markets. The Malikhaing Pinoy platform will likewise be present, providing creatives with the opportunity to register and promote their services through an innovative e-commerce ecosystem designed specifically for the country's creative sector.
Whether planning an upcoming wedding, searching for unique suppliers, or simply looking to support Filipino creativity, visitors are invited to experience the DTI Wedding Fair 2026 and discover how local talent can help transform every celebration into something truly special.
