INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY FEST RETURNS TO CIRCUIT MAKATI THIS APRIL 2026
A Celebration of Movement, Culture, and Global Talent at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater
Makati continues to strengthen its position as a vibrant cultural destination as the International Dance Day Fest returns this April 2026, bringing together artists, communities, and audiences in a celebration of dance as a universal language.
Spearheaded by Ayala Land, the event reflects a continued commitment to nurturing the arts and creating meaningful cultural experiences in the city. Circuit Makati has grown into more than an urban development. It is now a thriving cultural hub where creativity, collaboration, and community come together. From large-scale productions to intimate artistic showcases, it stands as a cornerstone of the city’s evolving arts and culture landscape.
At the center of this celebration is the Samsung Performing Arts Theater, a world class venue known for hosting acclaimed productions while championing Filipino talent. As it opens its doors once again to a diverse lineup of performers, it reinforces its role as a platform for artistic expression that bridges local and international stages.

Honoring the Power of Dance
In line with the global celebration of International Dance Day, the festival highlights the transformative power of movement. Established in 1982 by the International Theatre Institute, International Dance Day is celebrated every April 29 in honor of Jean Georges Noverre, widely regarded as the father of modern ballet. The occasion serves as a reminder that dance transcends borders, cultures, and language—connecting people through shared expression.
This year’s celebration brings together a wide spectrum of dance forms and talents from across the Philippines and beyond. From classical ballet and contemporary works to street dance and cultural performances, the program reflects the richness and diversity of the global dance community.
