JBL Celebrates 80 Years of Powering Voices with New Audio Innovationsand a Full-Day Audio Playground

EasySing Mic Mini

For 80 years, JBL has shaped how the world experiences sound, powering everything from concert stages and cinemas to everyday playlists and gaming setups. What began in 1946 with a commitment to delivering clear, powerful audio has grown into a global legacy that continues to define how sound is created, shared, and experienced today.

Now marking its 80th year, JBL enters a new chapter defined not by looking back, but by how sound continues to evolve with the way people live today. The latest lineup reflects this direction: bringing together portable entertainment, immersive personal listening, gaming performance, and large-scale party experiences in one cohesive ecosystem built for modern lifestyles.

New Audio Innovations

The latest JBL lineup reflects the many ways sound lives in everyday moments. Whether it’s turning any room into a karaoke session, creating immersive personal listening experiences, leveling up gameplay, or bringing massive sound outdoors, every product is built with the same spirit that has defined JBL across generations: powerful sound made to be heard and shared.

On May 15, 2026, JBL Philippines officially unveiled its latest lineup of innovative audio products at the prestigious Clark Marriott Hotel, Pampanga. Showcasing JBL’s continued commitment to redefining everyday audio experiences, the launch introduced a new generation of smart, immersive, and lifestyle-driven products designed for entertainment, content creation, and on-the-go listening.

Leading the launch are JBL’s newest EasySing products, bringing karaoke and creation into a more spontaneous, portable era. The pocket-sized JBL EasySing Mic Mini Duo and EasySing Mic Mini transform compatible JBL portable speakers and PartyBox models into instant karaoke systems with real-time AI Vocal Removal, allowing users to lower vocals by 25%, 50%, or fully remove them from any streaming track with a single press, making it possible to turn newly released tracks into karaoke versions instantly, without waiting for official instrumental releases or karaoke versions to become available. Designed for singing sessions, livestreams, and casual content creation alike, the lightweight mics feature Voice Boost support for clearer high notes, natural reverb, AI noise suppression, and up to 6 hours of playtime. Users can simply plug in the included USB-C dongle, then use the mic handheld, clipped onto clothing, or attached to its ring handle for more flexible recording and performance setups. For bigger karaoke moments, JBL also introduces the new JBL EasySing Mics, bringing the same AI-powered vocal removal technology into a dedicated plug-and-sing setup for compatible PartyBox speakers. Designed for duets, parties, and larger group sing-alongs, the wireless microphones feature built-in vocal tuning support, customizable backing vocal levels, and up to 10 hours of wireless playtime.

For an even more complete karaoke experience, the JBL PartyBox Encore 2 Plus and PartyBox On-The-Go 2 Plus take the EasySing ecosystem further by integrating built-in AI Vocal Removal directly into the speakers themselves. With wireless microphones, real-time vocal controls, and immersive party lighting, both models turn any space into an instant karaoke stage powered by JBL Pro Sound.

JBL’s portable speaker lineup also expands with products built to go wherever the music leads. The JBL Go 5 delivers compact, go-anywhere sound in a rugged, waterproof, dust-proof, and drop-proof build, now with a refreshed look, ambient edge lighting with built-in visual cues, and AirTouch for effortless stereo pairing by tapping two speakers together. It also supports AuracastTM connectivity and up to 10 hours of playtime. Meanwhile, the JBL Xtreme 5 delivers more powerful, detailed sound with a redesigned acoustic system, AI Sound Boost for reduced distortion at high volumes, and SmartEQ Mode for optimized music or speech playback. It features ambient lighting effects, lossless audio capability, a built-in powerbank, and up to 28 hours of playtime, and works seamlessly with JBL EasySing Mics for plug-and-sing karaoke sessions.

For parties that demand bigger sound and bigger energy, JBL introduces the PartyBox 130, built for full-scale celebrations. It features a new design with a hexagonal profile and redesigned top panel, giving it a more refined, modern look while maintaining its portable, splashproof build. JBL Legendary Sound and AI Sound Boost work together to deliver powerful audio that stays clear even at high volume, while dynamic lighting brings the atmosphere to life. With karaoke-ready inputs and up to 15 hours of playtime, it is designed to move with the moment. Auracast™ multi-speaker connectivity and JBL One App support round out a setup built for easy control and bigger sound when needed.

On the personal audio side, JBL introduces an expanded lineup of headphones and earbuds designed to move seamlessly through work, travel, entertainment, and everyday listening.

The JBL Live Series brings premium listening experiences across multiple form factors. The JBL Live 680NC on-ear and Live 780NC over-ear headphones feature a complete redesign with a sleeker silhouette, refined metallic accents, metal hinges, and soft-touch materials across the ear cushions and headband, combining comfort with a more polished finish. Available in Black, Blue, White, Beige, Green, Purple, and Orange, they bring a more expressive, lifestyle-forward look to JBL’s signature sound. Both models deliver JBL Signature Sound, Hi-Res Audio, Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0, Spatial Sound, and up to 80 hours of battery life for immersive all-day listening. Meanwhile, the JBL Live 4 series come in three wearing styles: Buds, Beam, and Flex, designed to fit different preferences, from a secure in-ear seal to a more open, relaxed fit. Available in Black, Blue, Silver, Champagne, Green, Purple, and Orange, the series offers more ways to match personal style while delivering an improved listening experience with enhanced clarity, stronger noise cancellation, and richer overall sound, alongside six-mic AI-enhanced calling, Smart Charging CaseTM controls, Spatial Sound, and long-lasting battery performance.

For listeners looking for powerful everyday sound, JBL expands its Tune Series lineup with the JBL Tune 530BT, Tune 730BT, Tune 680NC, and Tune 780NC. Across on-ear and over-ear designs, the series delivers JBL Pure Bass Sound, Bluetooth® 6.0 connectivity, multi-point pairing, lightweight comfort, and battery life of up to 76 hours. The Tune 680NC and Tune 780NC additionally introduce Adaptive Noise Cancelling and Spatial Sound features for more immersive listening wherever the day goes.

JBL also continues strengthening its gaming lineup with new additions to the Quantum Series. The JBL Quantum 250, Quantum 650, and flagship Quantum 950 are engineered to deliver immersive spatial audio, low-latency connectivity, and precise in-game awareness for competitive play across platforms. Featuring JBL Quantum Spatial Sound, customizable QuantumENGINE software, and a redesigned modular build, the latest headsets are built for both performance and longevity. Key components, including the microphone, ear cushions, cable, and hammock headband system, are designed to be easily replaceable, allowing users to maintain and customize their headset over time. With long-wear comfort and a durable, upgrade-friendly design, the JBL Quantum series is made for gamers who demand consistency through extended play.

Experience JBL Audio Playground

JBL also brought the milestone to life through the JBL Audio Playground held on May 16 at Clark Global City, gathering communities across music, gaming, movement, and entertainment for a full day of immersive brand experiences.

The event opened with a community fun run, followed by JBL booth flash sales and a Mobile Legends tournament featuring the JBL Quantum 650 headphones. Creative sessions also took center stage, including DJ workshops and live sets by DJ Ian Sndrz, dance workshops led by UPeepz, and skate park showcases throughout the day.

The celebration culminated in a concert featuring performances by Ben&Ben, HORI7ON, Dionela, Al James, and G22.

From new listening experiences to live community events, JBL’s 80th anniversary celebrates not just where sound has been, but where it’s headed next.
