Montblanc celebrates “The Journey: Let’s Write” campaign in Manila, Philippines

The Maison celebrated the power of writing inspired by travel for the launch of their latest creative collaboration. 

Montblanc celebrated the Maison’s brand campaign, “The Journey: Let’s Write,” in Manila, Philippines, at Casa Buenas on the evening of February 4, 2026. Media partners, esteemed clients, and local influencers gathered to bring Montblanc’s vision to life. Taking center stage was the Montblanc Voyage of Panorama, a staged train car inspired by the fantastical and colourful world of the short film “Let’s Write.” Each immersive touchpoint underscored Montblanc’s rich heritage, innovative spirit, and enduring mission to inspire the art of writing.

Montblanc celebrated the Maison’s brand campaign, “The Journey: Let’s Write” in Manila, Philippines, at Casa Buenas, on the evening of 4 February 2026. Media partners, esteemed clients, and local influencers graced the event and came together to bring to life Montblanc’s vision.

The evening began with guests warmly welcomed at an imaginary train departure hall to capture memorable moments. A departure board stands at the entrance, paying homage to several key cities to Montblanc, such as Hamburg, the Maison’s founding city; Florence, where its leather goods are handcrafted; Chamonix, the inspiration behind the iconic Montblanc emblem; Villeret; the home of Montblanc timepieces; as well as the host city for the event, Manila.

Taking center stage is the Montblanc Voyage of Panorama, a staged train car inspired by the fantastical, colourful world of the short film “Let’s Write”. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Wes Anderson, the short film premiered globally in Milan last June and transforms Montblanc into a stage for unbridled imagination and playful absurdity, with unexpected twists and turns, and beckoning viewers to experience the world of Montblanc through the lens of creativity and a dose of humour.

Across the event, key pieces from Montblanc Fall/Winter 25 collection were featured, such as the Writing Traveller Document Case in corteccia sfumato leather, Companion Crossbody, On Body, and Backpack in Grain leather, Montblanc Iced Sea Automatic Date 0 Oxygen, as well as Montblanc’s limited edition writing instruments from its Masters of Arts Homage to Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Writers Edition Homage to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Great Characters Homage to Queen collection.

Each touchpoint is designed to underscore Montblanc's rich heritage, innovative spirit, and its enduring mission to inspire the art of writing. Guests were invited to engage in activities that led them on both metaphorical and literal journeys of discovery, such as travel journaling, encouraging guests to document their favourite travel memories or dream destinations, or introspectively writing a note to their future selves, which will be mailed to them in a year’s time courtesy of the Montblanc Post.

For over a century, Montblanc has crafted pieces to accompany individuals on their personal journeys, whether traversing borders or exploring life by putting pen to paper. “The Journey: Let's Write” campaign is an invitation to undertake a voyage of self-expression through the transformative power of writing; a reminder to one to pause, reconnect with the self, and of course, write.
