Philippine Lifestyle Sourcing Expo 2026 Opens at SMX Convention Center Manila, Bringing Over 120 Exhibitors and 5,000 Trade Buyers

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Philippine Lifestyle Sourcing Expo 2026 (PHLSE 2026) officially opened today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the SMX Convention Center, Manila, marking the start of a three-day event bringing together more than 120 exhibitors from China, the Philippines, the United States, Vietnam, and other countries across 5,000 square meters of exhibition space. More than 5,000 professional trade buyers are expected to attend through October 10.

The opening ceremony was led by representatives of the organizers, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles (CCCT) and Huiyuan Culture Development Group Co., Ltd., together with Global-Link MP Events International, Inc., which manages the expo, alongside delegates from the China Quanzhou Export Commodity Brand Expo (ASEAN Session), partner industry organizations, and officials from the Philippine government. The ceremony formally opened the exhibition floor to trade buyers for the first of three days.

Various suppliers and manufacturers filled the exhibition floor on opening day, with early turnout from retailers, distributors, e-commerce sellers, and brand owners exploring the floor within the first hours of the show. 

A Full Day of Activity

Following the opening ceremony, the exhibition floor welcomed buyers across apparel and textiles, footwear and bags, sporting goods, home and daily-use products, and lifestyle products. 

The Philippine Sport Show, PHLSE's dedicated sporting goods section, opened with brands and manufacturers including PEAK, RIGORER, REVED USA, Vietnam's TIANYADA, IANONI Philippines, and PSI Sports, alongside specialized suppliers such as JINHUA YITAI SPORTS for fitness equipment, HENGHUI SPORTS for sports flooring and court systems, YUQIU SPORTS LIGHTING for professional venue lighting, HONGDA SPORTS for pickleball, badminton, and tennis equipment, COOPER SPORTS for footballs, basketballs, and volleyballs, and JINHUA POWER SPORTS for pickleball products.

Visitors also took part in Pickleball LIVE! by the Philippine Pickleball Academy, which kicked off with on-site clinics and open play. Numerous visitors also joined the Attack Arena, where they tried combat and traditional archery and the airsoft range. The day closed with ROOTED: The Filipino Runway, presented by the Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines, showcasing Filipino heritage reimagined through contemporary fashion.

Quanzhou Delegation Headlines Opening Day

A major highlight of this year's edition is the China Quanzhou Export Commodity Brand Expo (ASEAN Session), running alongside PHLSE. Organized by CCPIT Quanzhou and the Quanzhou Chamber of International Commerce, the delegation brings together 38 companies across 49 booths, showcasing footwear, apparel, bags, household products, ceramics, tea, and food under the "Quanzhou Quality Products" showcase, with dedicated buyer matching and B2B meetings running throughout the show.

A Platform Backed by Government and Industry

This year's expo has received welcome messages from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., Senate President Win Gatchalian, DTI Secretary Cristina A. Roque, PEZA Director General Tereso Panga, and Philippine Sports Commission Commissioner Matthew Gaston, underscoring the expo's growing role as a sourcing and trade platform in the country. 

The event is also supported by the Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority (PhilFIDA), the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), the Chinese Filipino Business Club Inc. (CFBCI), the Garment Manufacturers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (GARMAP), the Philippine Ecommerce Association Inc. (PECA), and the Philippine Pickleball Academy (PhPA), among other industry organizations.

What's Next

The expo continues through October 9 and 10, with the PHLSE Awards Ceremony, a Philippine e-commerce industry session from BIDABODSS, traditional weaving presentations from Laga Live, and dedicated B2B matchmaking sessions still ahead. 

Through pre-show matching, on-site meetings, and post-show follow-up, PHLSE continues to strengthen its role as a sourcing and business platform connecting Chinese and local suppliers with the Philippine and ASEAN markets.
