A Collective Holiday Spirit of Filipino Artistry: Rustan’s Christmas Shop Returns with a Festive Celebration of Design and Holiday Joy
The holidays shine brighter this year as Rustan’s Christmas Shop 2025 transforms tradition into inspiration with its signature festive showcase. The annual event celebrates togetherness and creativity, bringing to life the artistry of select personalities who designed vignettes inspired by their own cherished holiday memories—each crafted using Rustan’s Christmas Shop’s elegant collections.
By blending innovation with tradition, Rustan’s invites families to embrace the season in ways that are both personal and meaningful. The showcase not only sparks inspiration but extends an open invitation to create Christmas magic at home.
Stories Told Through Holiday Design
Rustan’s collaborated with some of the country’s most creative voices, each one weaving personal stories into holiday décor. The resulting vignettes reflect a collective spirit of Filipino artistry—proving that decorating for Christmas is more than a tradition. It is storytelling, memory-making, and celebrating togetherness.
Sofia Zobel Elizalde, founder of STEPS Dance Studio, crafted a nostalgic tablescape inspired by her childhood traditions, complete with a piña tablecloth, crystal glasses, and playful Nutcracker accents. Her setting reflects Christmas as a season of love, sharing, and cherished memories.
Michelle Suzuki’s A Red Reverie draws from the Japanese art of Ikebana, featuring a striking red Christmas tree adorned with blossoms, berries, and jewel-toned ornaments—a tribute to both heritage and festivity.
Happy Ongpauco-Tiu, interior designer and founder of My Happy Home, embraced “evening glamour” through golden accents, black-and-champagne tones, and candlelight for a timelessly elegant tablescape.
Architect Miko De Los Reyes merged heritage and modernity with a vignette inspired by “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue,” blending Rustan’s signature blue with heirloom-inspired prints and natural textures.
Pam Gonzales-Lopez of FLORET reimagined holiday décor as woodland abundance in A Floret Christmas in Woodland Whimsy, layering textures and raw forest elements into festive elegance.
Myze Bangayan presented a serene Christmas afternoon tea setup, mixing textures and tones to celebrate the season as a time of pause, connection, and warmth.
Jia Estrella’s Noel Majorelle offered an artistic and global take, drawing inspiration from Marrakech’s Jardin Majorelle to fuse cultures, colors, and tradition in a vibrant holiday setting.
A Festive Collection of Fantasies
This year’s Rustan’s Christmas Shop also introduced a spectacular collection of themed Christmas trees that reflect the many moods of the season:
Cirque de Noël — whimsical circus-inspired décor with stripes, lights, and childlike wonder.
Christmas Masquerade — elegant, velvet-rich tones that echo the mystery of a masquerade ball.
Sweet Christmas — pastel candies, frosted ornaments, and gingerbread details for playful delight.
Santa’s Secret Circle and Santa’s Merry Moments — festive motifs celebrating Santa and his companions.
The Pink Collection — chic glamour with layers of pink, ribbon, and metallic sparkle.
Symphony of Jewels — jewel-toned opulence with gold and luxurious fabrics.
Christmas Under the Stars — celestial magic with twinkling lights and starry accents.
Paskong Pinoy — a celebration of local tradition with parols, capiz, and Noche Buena inspiration.
Together, these vignettes and themed trees transform Rustan’s Christmas Shop into a gallery of holiday artistry—where each detail tells a story and every corner invites families to imagine new traditions.
